Rewrite SEO titles from your actual page content
For site owners whose pages share generic titles like “Services | Company”. Claude reads each page, proposes specific titles and descriptions in a table, and saves only the ones you approve.

- Yoast SEO or Rank Math
- SEO and content permissions
Example workflow. A realistic walkthrough of what Meikero supports, not a customer story or a measured result.
The situation
Your site grew page by page. Several pages now use the SEO plugin’s default title, two have the same meta description, and some describe services you renamed. In search results and browser tabs they look interchangeable, and fixing them one by one in the editor keeps slipping down the list.
What you’ll make
A reviewed set of unique SEO titles and meta descriptions, each based on what its page actually contains, saved to your SEO plugin — with a before/after table as a record.
What you need
- Yoast SEO or Rank Math active, and Claude connected to your site.
- Meikero Pro to save changes. Both the SEO permission and the permission for the target content — pages and posts, or WooCommerce for products — must allow changes. Reading and proposing work on Free. See Free and Pro.
- A short list of pages to start with, by ID.
How it works
Read pages and current fields
Claude reads each page and the SEO fields stored by your plugin, plus Yoast’s rendered values where available.
Propose a review table
Current and proposed title and description side by side, with character counts, based on page content — no invented keyword data.
Apply what you approve
Only the approved title and description fields are sent, one page at a time, each checked against the page’s current edit hash.
Verify the output
Claude reads the fields back; you check the page source for the new title and description.
Copy this prompt
Review the SEO titles and meta descriptions for page IDs 12, 15 and 18 using the available Meikero tools.
1. For each page, read its content and its current SEO fields. Note the stored and rendered title and description, the canonical URL and the edit hash. Do not change anything yet.
2. Propose a unique SEO title (around 50-60 characters) and meta description (around 120-155 characters) for each page, based only on its content. Do not invent keyword volumes or rankings.
3. Show a table: page, current title, proposed title, current description, proposed description, character counts. Wait for my approval.
4. Update only the approved title and description fields through the SEO integration, using each page's current edit hash. Do not change canonical URLs, focus keyphrases, robots settings, page content or any other field.
5. Read each page's SEO fields back and confirm the saved and rendered values match what I approved.
What makes a good title and description
Google’s guidance on title links asks for descriptive, concise titles without keyword stuffing or boilerplate repeated across pages, and its snippet guidance asks for descriptions that are unique and summarise the specific page. Yoast’s article on meta descriptions adds practical advice on length and clarity. Treat character counts as writing targets, not rules.
Review before applying
- Each title describes its own page and does not repeat another page’s wording.
- Descriptions mention only what the page actually offers.
- Brand names, locations and service names are spelled consistently.
Limits and recovery
The SEO tool changes stored per-page fields only. Robots directives such as noindex are not part of it, and global templates stay in your SEO plugin; canonical URLs change only if a canonical value is sent, which the prompt forbids. Search engines decide what they show: Google may rewrite a title link or use page text instead of your description, and SEO plugin indicators are editorial feedback, not ranking guarantees. Every update keeps a Meikero data backup that can be restored.
FAQ
Will this improve my rankings?
Nobody can promise that. Clear, accurate titles help people understand your result; rankings depend on much more than metadata.
Why does Claude need content permission too?
SEO fields belong to a page or product, so Meikero requires write access to that object as well as to SEO before it saves changes.
Can I do this for products?
Yes, with WooCommerce permission alongside SEO. Product descriptions themselves are covered in the WooCommerce workflow.

Titles that say what the page does.
Read first, approve in a table, apply only what you agreed.
