Build a landing page for your next campaign
For business owners and freelancers who need a focused page for a new service or offer. Claude reads your existing site, proposes the page, and creates a WordPress draft you review before anyone sees it.
- Example workflow · Meikero Pro
- Content permission to create pages
- Result: a draft page, not a published one
Example workflow. A realistic walkthrough of what Meikero supports, not a customer story or a tested result.
The situation
You are launching a new service — say, a spring garden clean-up package — and the homepage is the wrong place to explain it. You want one page with a clear promise, the details people ask about, and a single next step. You have notes, but no time to turn them into a page that matches the rest of the site.
What you’ll make
A draft WordPress page with a headline, a short introduction, what is included, who it is for, common questions and one call to action — written in the voice of your existing pages and built with the content blocks your site already uses.
What you need
- Claude connected to your WordPress site.
- Meikero Pro and the Content permission set to allow changes, so Claude can create a page. Reading and proposing work on Free. See Free and Pro.
- Your offer details: what it includes, price or “from” price if you publish one, availability and how people should get in touch.
How it works
Read the site first
Claude reads a few existing pages to learn your tone, headings and the blocks or HTML your theme expects.
Agree the structure
Claude proposes sections and copy from your notes. You correct facts and wording before anything is created.
Create a draft
New pages are created as drafts by default, and HTML is sanitised on save. Nothing is public yet.
Review and publish yourself
Preview the draft, check links on desktop and mobile, then publish when it is right — or ask Claude to, as a separate step.
Copy this prompt
I want a landing page for a new offer. Use the available Meikero tools.
1. Read my homepage and two similar pages. Summarise the tone, the heading style and the blocks or HTML structure they use. Do not change anything.
2. From the notes below, propose a page title, slug and section-by-section copy: headline, introduction, what is included, who it is for, three FAQs and one call to action. Use only facts from my notes; list anything missing instead of inventing it.
3. Wait for my approval of the copy and structure.
4. After I approve, create the page as a draft with the same block structure as my existing pages. Do not publish it, and do not change any other page, menu or theme file.
5. Read the draft back and give me its ID and preview link.

About custom layouts and page builders
How far this goes depends on your theme and the tools Meikero exposes. Meikero creates and edits standard WordPress page content. Layouts stored by page builders such as Elementor or Oxygen in their own data are not exposed as Meikero tools, so do not expect Claude to edit them directly.
If the page needs a layout your theme cannot produce, that becomes theme work: approve a theme folder for writing, save a checkpoint first, and keep changes in your own theme or a child theme rather than an updatable third-party theme. The WordPress Theme Handbook and its chapter on child themes explain the options. Our guide to building a WordPress theme with Claude covers that route in detail.
Review before publishing
- Every claim, price and date matches what you actually offer.
- The call to action goes to the right form, email or booking page.
- Headings follow a sensible order and the page reads well on a phone.
- The slug is short and descriptive, and the page is linked from somewhere visitors will find it.
Limits and recovery
Claude creates content; it does not add menu items (menus are read-only in Meikero) or choose your marketing strategy. Page edits keep WordPress revisions and Meikero data backups, so earlier versions can be restored. Keep your normal site backups too.
FAQ
Will the page be published automatically?
No. Pages are created as drafts by default, and the prompt tells Claude not to publish. Publishing is your decision.
Can Claude match my existing design?
It can reuse the blocks and HTML patterns your existing pages already use. Brand-new layouts need theme work in an approved folder.
Can I use this with a page builder?
Claude can still draft the copy and structure for you to place in the builder. Meikero does not edit page-builder layouts directly.
