Who we are

meikero.com and the Meikero MCP plugin are operated by Escanor, MB, company code 307630691, Telšių g. 10D, Alsėdžiai, LT-90472 Plungės r., Lithuania — the data controller under the GDPR. Contact: hello@meikero.com, +370 684 10413.

What we collect when you purchase

Your name, email address and country, your order details and the account created for the purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details are entered on Stripe’s secure forms and we never see or store full card numbers. We process this data to fulfil the contract (issue your license, send your receipt and license key, provide support and renewals) and to meet accounting obligations.

Account and support

Your meikero.com account shows your orders, downloads and connected websites. When you email support we keep the correspondence to answer you and to improve the product. Please never send license keys or connection (Bearer) keys — we do not need them.

License activation and connection data

When you activate a paid license, the plugin sends your license key, the website address, a random installation identifier and the plugin version to meikero.com. Later checks use a separate activation credential. To show your account dashboard, the plugin also reports minimal connection metadata: the AI client category, whether the MCP connection is enabled and verified, and the time of the last authenticated request. We store the website address and identifiers to enforce the website limit, let you pause, resume or disconnect websites, and provide signed updates. License keys are stored encrypted.

Meikero Free needs no account and sends no license data. The one-time trial sends the website address and an installation identifier so the trial can be verified and limited to one website.

What the plugin never sends to us

Your website content, source files, audit reports, media, customer or order data, and your connection (Bearer) keys stay on your website. Conversations with the AI client and its tool calls travel directly between your website and the AI provider (for Claude, Anthropic) under the permissions you configure; Escanor, MB does not receive them. The AI provider’s handling of that data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

Optional installation statistics

The plugin can send anonymous installation statistics (plugin and WordPress versions, counts) only if the administrator explicitly opts in under Meikero → Privacy & statistics. This is off by default, independent of licensing, and can be switched off and deleted at any time from the same screen.

Cookies and analytics

meikero.com sets functional cookies needed for the shop (session, cart, sign-in) and Stripe sets cookies on the checkout page for fraud prevention. We use Site Kit by Google for Search Console data and, where enabled, Google Analytics for aggregated visitor statistics; these services may set their own cookies. We do not run advertising trackers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the shop still works with functional cookies only.

Processors and transfers

We rely on Hostinger (hosting, EU), Stripe (payments), Google (Site Kit) and our email provider. Some of these may process data outside the EU under the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. Links to third-party sites such as Discord are subject to those sites’ own policies.

Retention

Order and invoice records are kept for 10 years as required by Lithuanian accounting law. License, activation and account records are kept while your license or account exists and for up to 12 months afterwards for support and fraud prevention. Support correspondence is kept for up to 3 years. Opted-in statistics are deleted on request from the plugin.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, by emailing hello@meikero.com. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version. Material changes affecting existing customers are announced by email or in your account.
